“Hello, I am a parent who lives in Southport. My daughter’s soccer game at McKinley this past Sunday was canceled because of the poor condition of the field. Glass pieces were found all over. Very dangerous….How could the field be covered in glass so extensively? I’m told that a division of Fairfield responsible for maintaining the fields used inappropriate dirt fill in a number of fields, not just McKinley. Oldfield, Burroughs 2, Jennings, and Fairfield Woods are impacted. What kind of oversight and accountability is there for field maintanence?”
