Beach Neighborhood Emails
There is a multitude of emails between the neighbors – living in the vicinity of the Public Works Aggregate Fill Pile – and the Town Administration. The vast majority were sent circa 2016. As most of these emails need to be redacted to protect the identities of private citizens, we are posting a handful of key exchanges. If time allows, we will add more.
January 2016 – First Selectman Tetreau emails his staff stating “I’m hearing this is illegal”Download

September 2016 – Citizen identifies conflict of interest – specifically Fairfield Public Works Superintendent’s son works for the Fill Pile Contractor in violation of the terms of the RFP. The First Selectman’s Chief of Staff is notified and the citizen claims to contact First Selectman Tetreau directly. No action regarding the conflict of interest is taken by the Town Administration with either the Town employee or the contractor. Download
